Konstantin Grcic’s Black Flag blurs the line between wall light and centrepiece. A slim aluminium arm pivots out from a vertical wall-mounted frame to reach up to 3.5 metres into the room, carrying direct and indirect light to wherever it is needed, then folds back against the wall as a stark, sculptural outline that recalls the flag it is named after.
A touch-sensitive panel on the arm switches the light and dims the upward and downward beams independently. Black Flag glows at a warm 2700K; Black Flag Pro adds tunable white from 2700K to 5000K, an Adaptive Eco Mode whose built-in lux sensor keeps the work surface at a constant 500 lux, and Bluetooth control. Both are finished in matte black and can be hardwired or connected by plug.
