The Dusk Table Lamp by Nicolaj Nøddesbo and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen divides its light into a rhythm of exposure. Two spun, oxidized aluminum shades frame the bulb in an almost eclipse-like composition that feels as much an art piece as a lamp.
A raw, handmade oxidized aluminum base gives it stability and continuity, while the layered shades add depth to a smooth, intimate light. A dimmer switch sits on the base.
