The Moon Floor Lamp by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen is a minimalist composition of geometric shapes, each part perfectly balanced against the next. Two light sources sit as fixed points along an oxidized brass arm, while a large circular disc in brushed brass hangs from it like a floating reflector.
Lit from both sides, the disc spreads a warm, soft light through the room. The whole structure rises from a cylindrical base of unpolished grey marble that keeps it steady and adds a tactile, natural counterpoint to the metal.
