Delicate and sculptural, the Snowflower Semi-Flush Mount by Currey and Company brings a botanical, airy presence to ceilings—ideal for entryways, dining rooms, or living spaces that need an elegant focal point. Its nodding petal forms create soft, upward illumination while maintaining a refined, contemporary silhouette.
Key Features & Design
- Material & Finish: Hand-formed wrought iron construction with a gesso white finish for a matte, clean look that enhances the fixture’s crisp, luminous quality.
- Size & Scale: Generous span—approximately 36″ diameter with a low 12″ profile—designed to read as a statement without hanging far below the ceiling. (Canopy: 6″ dia. x 1″ H).
- Lamping: Uses multiple candelabra E12 sockets (B torpedo tip recommended); dimmable when paired with compatible bulbs and dimmer. Total wattage varies by model; follow lamp specifications for best results.
- Craftsmanship: Organic, petal-like arms curve upward from a central stem to mimic snow-laden branches—a design reflecting Currey and Company’s attention to artisanal detail and movement.
- Safety & Origin: UL/cUL listed for indoor use; manufactured with quality checks and a limited warranty through Currey and Company.
Performance / Benefits
- Soft, Upward Ambient Light: The petal-shaped shades direct light gently toward the ceiling to create a bright, even glow that reduces glare while enhancing room ambience—great for rooms where a soft, luminous wash is preferred.
- Statement Without Overcrowding: At roughly 36″ across with a low profile, the fixture provides visual impact in medium to large rooms while remaining suitable for standard ceiling heights.
- Versatile Styling: The crisp white finish and organic silhouette pair easily with modern, coastal, Scandinavian, and transitional interiors—bringing a sculptural, nature-inspired accent that complements a wide range of palettes.
- Low Maintenance: Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth or duster; the durable wrought-iron build keeps long-term care simple.
