Uptown is Ferruccio Laviani’s homage to the skyscraper: three stacked columns of screen-printed tempered glass in yellow, red and blue, rising from a mirrored square base like a tower on a city skyline. It reads as a sculpture even when switched off, its coloured panes overlapping to create new shades as you move around it.
When lit, an integrated LED fills the glass with light and throws it upward, so the whole column glows and the ceiling above picks up a soft wash of colour. A dimmer is included, letting Uptown move from a vivid statement piece to a gentle accent in a living room, bedroom or entry.
