Tell me about the stone
A classic granite in every way, Verde Tunas will give your home the effortless style you’ve been searching for. Largely gray with delicate flecks of cream, tan and an undertone of green, this versatile stone will give your home the lift it needs – regardless of your style. It has a consistent granular pattern throughout the stone, a look that granite is famed for. Elegant and classy, Verde Tunas Granite tiles will never look amiss in your new interior design.
High on the hardness scale, granite is one of the most durable stones out there. There are only a few materials considered sturdier than this beautiful stone, and that includes diamonds and rubies, elements that keep their value for a lifetime. This extreme hardness ensures the stone is scratch and weather resistant, making it suitable for a whole host of locations, including those that undergo the highest levels of wear and tear. Granite is ideal for countertops and vanities, as well as flooring in all areas of the home. It can also be used to create design edge on a bathroom or shower wall, proving a unique feature that is rarely replicated outside of nature.
Tell me about the tile’s finish
These Verde Tunas Granite tiles come with a softly honed finish. The granite has been ground down to a smooth surface and left with a slightly matte effect. This gives the stone an understated look, sophisticated and stylish without being obtrusive.
A honed finish, however, should not be considered merely on its design advantages, it also comes with a number of functional benefits. For example, when compared to polished granite, it provides a preferable level of slip resistance. Often a glossy tile can feel slippery underfoot, especially when wet, but a honed finish offers enough grip to make it suitable for flooring in all home locations.
Furthermore, when used for flooring, a matte tile offers increased durability. A polished sheen may require regular upkeep to ensure its shine is maintained, but a honed finish is naturally dull, and so a periodic clean with a pH neutral cleanser should be sufficient.
What overall look will I achieve
